1 month later in Italy
Leo was in his office when he heard a knock and said, "Come in."
"Dad, you called me?" he heard from Mas as soon as he came inside.
"Yes, tomorrow we have to go to India to Mr Singhania's mansion as we have to finalise our deal." he said without looking at his son knowing he was going to start his drama. Still, before he could utter a word he announced, "No arguments, and for your information, Sandro is busy handling the mafia under my absence with Dom and Gio will be handling legal business with Enzo. So everyone is busy and you are coming with me to India."
Seeing no chance to reject Mas signed saying, "Okay Dad." and left.
As soon as a sound came indicating Mas had left he looked at the door from where his son left and a small smile broke on his face remembering his son's tactics who is the mother hen of the family along with Gio since their daughter left and mother died.
He signed and continued doing his work.
Next day,
Leo and Mas arrived in Mumbai by their private jet and were going towards their car when they received a text from Mr. Singhania which was the address of their mansion and requested them to join their Godfather's 90th birthday and stay in their mansion for which Leo rejected to stay as they have already booked a hotel for their stay but would come to attend their Godfather's birthday only to receive an okay.
Today Mas was driving while Leo was sitting in the passenger seat and they had one more car with their bodyguard behind them.
Mas and Leo were having a conversation when they heard a horn from the right side only to a truck coming near them signalling to move forward fast but it was too late..
Other side,
Aria was going towards the hospital from the orphanage as it was the weekend and every weekend she would spend time kids of the orphanage and later go to the hospital.
Today as soon as she entered in kid's room she shouted, "Hellooo bachaasss." (Hellooo kidss.)
Hearing her every kid became happy and shouted, "Yayyy."
She heard this smiled and asked to kids in a playful tone, "So aaj mai ek kahani layi hu, sunoge?" (Today I have brought a story for you'll, wanna hear it?) and as soon as she received a yes she started narrating a story very playfully laughing and doing actions along with walking to every kid's bed making sure everyone was listening.
When she ended the story everyone clapped and smiled widely hearing a happy ending. Later she distributed the chocolates and biscuits which she made for the children and told them to always take medicines and behave like a good kid and smiled when she received nods from everyone.
Later she sang lullaby for everyone making them fall asleep while the nurses smiled seeing the moment as she was always there whenever needed.
As soon as she exited the room she saw a lot of rush in the hospital. She stopped a nurse and asked,
"What's happening here?"
"There is an accident patient who has lost too much blood so we have contacted the blood bank but it'll take time for them to bring the blood." the nurse tried to explain the whole situation in short.
"I can give"
"What?" the nurse asked for confirmation.
"I can give blood." she repeated
"Will you give him blood?" the nurse asked for confirmation.
"Yeah, let's go." she said as the nurse pulled her towards the OT and took her inside.
"Doctor, she is ready to give him blood." the nurse informed the doctor making him sigh in relief later he asked the nurse to inform the person who was with the patient that they had got the blood.
They made her lay on a bed and were going to start the process but Aria closed her eyes as she was afraid of needles later felt some pain in her hand making her eyes watery but she blinked her eyes and tried to relax.
She kept her eyes closed and didn't open them till they had taken her blood, as much as they needed successfully.
Later when she felt something removing from her hand she exhaled as if she was holding her breath.
When the bandage was applied she tried to leave and got up only to fall back on the bed while rubbing her forehead.
This was seen by the nurse who said, "I think you should take a nap otherwise you'll faint due to weakness."
Aria nodded and slept there when a man came there to see his father who was saved by Aria.
He took and breath of relief and looked at Aria who was on the left side to thank her but seeing her sleeping he decided not to disturb her.
He was sitting there quietly waiting for both of them to wake up but later got reminded of the meeting which was going to happen tomorrow but decided to postpone it due to his father's health.
He went outside to call Mr. Singhania and informed him about the situation but when he returned he saw the bed beside his father was empty and the girl was missing. He asked one of the nurses only to get to know that she went as she was in a hurry and got a call from her family.
He nodded and went inside only to hear, "Mas."
He looked at his father who had just opened his eyes and went towards him, poured him some water and made him drink it.
After drinking he asked, "What happened?" to which Mas explained him everything receiving a nod at the end.
"You wait here. I'll call the doctor." Mas said and went to call the doctor without hearing any response.
Later he came with a doctor and a nurse who checked him while writing down something and said with a smile, "Mr. Rossi, as you are still weak and won't be able to do things like walking due to the injury on your left leg and eating with you own hands due to the fracture on you hands so you need a bed rest."
Hearing this Leo nodded but frowned when he asked, "Where is your daughter?"
"Daughter?" Mas asked with a confused face.
"Wasn't the girl who gave you blood your daughter?" The doctor asked with an amused smile.
Mas was going to ask something but stopped seeing his father's hand.
"And why do you think she was my daughter?" Leo asked in a cold voice sending shivers to the doctor.
"Be-because we did a blood test and found out yours and hers DNA matches 100%" Doctor said while shuddering a little but still said what he meant only to see Leo's eyes softened while Mas had tears.
(Please note guys, I'm a commerce student and I don't know anything about science which I haven't studied for the past 4 years. So forgive me all those science students who are reading my book.)
"Can we have the DNA test results?" Leo asked getting a nod from a doctor and went to get the results.
"Dad" Mas said with a wide smile knowing he was going to her sister's back.
"My Principessa" Leo said with a smile and looked at Mas who nodded happily they shared a hug but broke it later and Mas asked.
"Should we inform others?"
"Not now as we still need to find her." Leo said while Mas nodded.
Later doctor came and gave them the results which they decided to see again to confirm but had a smile seeing that it was true.
Leo asked Mas to get his discharge and when he went he asked the doctor if he knew something about her.
"I don't know anything about her as I came here 2 weeks ago but saw her coming to the hospital once a week to play with the kids. Maybe the nurse who brought her knows about her, should I call her?" receiving a nod from Leo he went and sent the nurse.
"Do you know anything about the girl who gave me blood?" Leo asked
"Yeah, she is Aria Ranjit Singhania, daughter of Mr. Ranjit Mahendra Singhania who is the trustee of our hospital. And I know that she is an influencer, that's it." hearing someone else name along with her daughter's name he clenched his fist but later it clicked in his mind that Ranjit Singhania was none other than the Boss of the Indian Mafia with whom he was going to have a meeting.
He thanked the nurse who went outside and later Mas entered and said, "Dad, we can go now."
Leo nodded and got ready with the help of Mas and said, "Mas, we're going to Singhania Mansion to meet Mr. Singhania."
"But why? We can hold the meeting later and your health is important right now. And about Aria, we will fin-" Mas denied.
"Aria is adopted by none other than Mr Singhania" Leo interrupted Mas making him frown.
"WHAT??"
"Yes, so we need to go there and bring our princess back, now." Leo said in a serious tone receiving a nod from Mas.
However, when Aria reached home she saw her brothers sitting in the living room with a blank face. She walked slowly knowing that she was in trouble as she forgot to inform me that she was going to be late.
"Where were you?" Karan asked in a very cold voice scarring her but tried to maintain her posture.
"I was-" she tried to say only to get interrupted.
"Why didn't you picked our calls?" Arnav asked making an irritant face.
"Why were you so late?" Jai asked.
"Were you at the hospital?" Vikram asked.
And just like that more questions were asked not giving her a chance to answer making her sigh when she heard one more question making everyone stop and look at her hand with a worried face.
"Why do you hand that bandage?"
She looked in the direction from where the voice came only to her father who came running near her and took her hand gently to take a look at it and raised his eyebrows questioning her.
She sighed at him and gestured for him to sit down while others also came and sat there only to hear about the situation in the hospital making everyone look at her proudly.
"You did great bacha but now eat something and take a small nap so that at the party you will be looking good, okay?" her father said cupping her face.
"But-"
"No arguments, first your health and all the arrangements are done by us" Karan said knowing her sister well.
"Okay." sighing and left for her room.
When she woke up it was time for the party so she got up and dressed her self in an off-white anarkali with her dupatta hanging on her one hand with some jewellery.
She went down only to see the guests had started coming and she went to help others where she spotted some of the guests whom she knew and started talking with them.
While talking she could some gaze on her and she looked around only to see two men gazing at her intensely but before she could move forward to look towards them she was pulled by Jai who informed her to announce their grandfather's arrival. She nodded and then looked in the direction where she spotted the two men but saw no one was there, thinking it was an illusion she shook her head and went towards the stage.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. First of all, thank you so much to everyone who decided to give their precious time to us. And now let's welcome our birthday boy!!!" she said making everyone stand up and clap looking at the entrance from where Mahendra was coming with his wife, Anjali holding hands and waving at other people and going towards the stage.
Mahendra came on the stage and thanked everyone and gave a speech about his journey until now making everyone smile and listen to it carefully. When he ended the speech they cut the cake and had a dance where Aria was dancing with Jai when she noticed her grandfather, father, uncle and twin brothers were going towards the office along with two men of whom she saw a glimpse earlier ignoring that she continued enjoying herself.
Later when the guests were going back she noticed her family was in a not-so-good mood but thinking they all might be tired she shrugged this thought and was going towards her room when she heard.
"Aru?" Mahendra called.
"Ha dadu?" (Yes Grandpa?)
"Idhar aao baacha" Hearing this she went and sat beside him on the couch while others sat down on the other side of the sofa and chairs. (Come here baby.)
"Kya hua daddu?" she asked and waited for a minute but didn't receive any answer. (What happened grandpa?)
She sighed and looked at others only to see their depressing faces.
"Kya hua hai koi mujhe batayga?" she asked frustratingly receiving no answer when her grandpa said while holding her hands. (Is someone going to tell me what happened?)
"Bacha, you know right we all love you?" he asked with a frown knowing her answer.
"Is that even a question daddu? Of course, I know that. But what happened? Why are you asking this type of question all of a sudden?"
"Baby, we wanted you to know something which we-" he stopped and looked at others who nodded and looked back at Aria and continued, "We hid from you."
"What?" she asked with a frown.
"Th-that you are ad-adopted."
"You're joking right?" she asked with a chuckle thinking they were doing some prank but her smile vanished receiving no answer she slowly removed her hands from her grandpa's grip when everyone explained to her what everything had happened and later looked at her face to see her looking at her lap with no emotions which made Ranjit get up from his place and kneeled in front of her, holding her hands and requesting in a very gentle voice.
"Kuch bolo na baccha." After receiving no answer from her he asked her again making everyone think about telling her all this was wrong. (Speak something baby.)
"So you want me to leave you" she whispered with tears in her eyes but was heard by everyone.
"No Aru" Raghav said while regretting telling her the truth.
"We would never" her father assured her.
"Promise?" she asked sniffing which made both of them nod and hold her hand which she forwarded as a sign of promise as they couldn't see her crying.
Seeing this she quickly hugged her father and buried her face in his neck mumbling, "I'm sorry but I'm too selfish to leave you all even after knowing I'm adopted."
Everyone smiled but Vikram asked, "You are not angry with us for lying?"
She broke the hug making an angry pout and said, "I'm. But I'm also thankful to you all for taking me in otherwise I don't know what would have happened with me."
Everyone smiled hearing this but it vanished as soon as Mahendra said.
"About your real family-"
